The article proposes changes to the eurasian economic union treaty to improve cooperation on human rights and emergency management.
The article is devoted to the author’s further research on the issues of Eurasian integration, namely: scientific consideration of the issue of the possibility of amending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union in the context of conceptual and specifying amendments. In particular, proposals are substantiated to expand the format of interaction between the EAEU member states in the following areas: protection of human rights and freedoms, cooperation of justice and law enforcement agencies, development of a joint anti-corruption policy, cooperation in the field of prevention and elimination of natural and manmade emergencies, development and adoption of a common environmental and nature protection policy, creation of a single research and educational space. The article contains scientifically substantiated conclusions that in order to advance the Eurasian integration of the EAEU, it is necessary to amend the Treaty on the EAEU, expand the areas of cooperation within the EAEU, as well as maintain the openness of this interstate integration association for the admission of new member states. In addition, the issue of creating a human rights mechanism within the EAEU remains relevant.
