The ubiquity and ambivalence of events and circumstances in the business environment are of exceptional importance for ensuring the realization of business objectives. Identifying hazards and analyzing risks arising from such events represent key elements for prevention and for proper and timely responses aimed at avoiding or mitigating consequences. Risk management is an imperative of business operations, serving the function of identifying and addressing all environmental factors that have the potential to negatively impact protected values. Since risk management incorporates all the key elements of the management process (planning, organizing, execution, coordination, and control), it must remain fully compatible with the overall management process in all required aspects. This paper presents a new risk assessment method that integrates theoretical postulates of risk theory with the practical need for a systematic approach, while enabling simple and rapid calculation of risk levels. The method combines expert evaluation, scenario analysis, and matrix-based risk assessment methods grounded in the prediction of management process elements. Sections of the platform (BIMP) are also presented, which enable the digitalization of the risk assessment process in support of corporate security management within organizations. The presented segments of the platform are shown in Serbian, in accordance with the original solution.
