Observational analysis improved contrast-to-noise ratio and reduced motion artifacts in 110 patients, suggesting GRASP enhances MRI quality.
Motivation: Gadoxetate disodium often causes transient severe motion artifacts, affecting image quality and diagnostic reliability. Goal(s): Explore the potential of GRASP technique in enhancing the imaging quality of gadoxetate disodium enhanced MRI. Approach: 110 patients who underwent conventional breath hold T1-VIBE and/or GRASP-VIBE examination were included. signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) of each liver lobe were calculated. Image quality of hepatic arterial phase was rated using a five-point scale. Results: Compared with T1-VIBE, the CNR and SNR in GRASP-VIBE were significantly higher, and the motion artifacts were significantly reduced in HAP. Impact: The GRASP technique can improve the quality of gadolinium disodium enhanced MRI images.
