Motivation: Combining brain imaging methods with non-invasive brain stimulation including TMS is a rapidly expanding field with the potential to drastically improve the understanding of brain function. However, there is a need for optimized hardware solutions for these acquisitions. Goal(s): Developing a new RF coil to support MRI of Neuromodulation in line with the newly founded ISMRM Study group. Approach: We constructed a wearable RF Cap that enhances sensitivity and enables parallel imaging with high acceleration factors while offering flexible positioning of the TMS coil. Results: Our RF Cap shows a drastically improvement over existing setups for full-brain concurrent TMS/fMRI experiments. Impact: To enable concurrent MRI and neuromodulation we present a first-of-its-kind wearable RF cap that will allow full brain concurrent TMS/fMRI and TMS/EEG/fMRI acquisitions with high sensitivity and using high acceleration factors.
