Motivation: During the diagnosis of LNM and TD, conventional MRI only makes judgments from macro-perspectives . However, the td-dMRI can analyze from the perspective of the microstructure of cancer cells. Goal(s): This study aims to explore the feasibility of predicting LNM and TD based on td-dMRI to obtain the microstructural parameters of cancer cells. Approach: td-dMRI was used to analyze Vin, d, Dex, and cellularity to predict LNM and TD before surgery. Results: The microstructural parameter diameter based on td-dMRI has potential in predicting LNM and TD of rectal cancer, and it is expected to provide assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of rectal cancer. Impact: The parameter diameter derived from td-dMRI has the potential to serve as an imaging biomarker for the preoperative prediction of LNM and TD.
