This analysis examines vibration improvements using negative Poisson's ratio composites in tanker trucks, suggesting enhanced safety.
To address the safety hazards of structural fatigue and sealing failure caused by vibration in the operation of tanker trucks, this thesis adopts excimer laser technology to prepare functionalized negative Poisson’s ratio composites for modification of tanker truck bodies by accessing functional groups based on high-strength negative Poisson’s ratio material powders and embedding micro- and nano-inert silicate particles. Through the combination of theoretical analysis, finite element simulation, and experimental testing, the local vibration modal characteristics of the modified tanker body are systematically studied. The results show that the composite material makes the intrinsic frequency of the body migrate to low frequency, effectively avoids the resonance area of road surface excitation, optimizes the distribution of vibration pattern, significantly reduces the amplitude of vibration in the key parts, and provides an innovative and effective solution for the design of vibration reduction of the tank car.
