Experimental study shows 93.2% denitrification efficiency in catalysts, highlighting dopant effects on performance.
In this study, La 1-x Ce x Mn 0.9 Cr 0.1 O 3 (x=0.05, 0.1, 0.2, 0.4) catalysts were prepared and subjected to the NH 3 -SCR denitrification reaction by co-precipitation method of doping modification, and Ce-doped La 1-x Ce x Mn 0.9 Cr 0.1 O 3 chalcocite was investigated for its structural, morphological, and redox properties changes. The findings indicate that the denitrification efficiency can attain 93.2% at a Ce doping ratio of 0.1 and a reaction temperature of 300°C, and that the denitrification efficiency can be sustained at 86.9% in the presence of SO 2 passage. Through a series of characterization, it was found that the replacement of LaMn 0.9 Cr 0.1 O 3 catalyst A-site by Ce will cause changes in cell volume and lattice size, and aggravate the lattice distortion. The doping concentration of the Ce element has a significant regulatory effect on the microstructure of perovskite catalysts, and the increase of average pore size effectively promotes the diffusion rate of active components and facilitates the adsorption of reactive gases.
