Observational analysis reveals cognitive skills development in primary school children, highlighting seasonal impacts on everyday life and culture.
The article is devoted to the formation of cognitive universal educational actions in primary school children when studying seasonal changes in nature in the “World around us” lessons. However, the “World around us” course not only reveals the seasonal changes in nature themselves, but also shows how they have influenced and continue to influence today the life, everyday life, economic, and environmental activities of humans, how the seasonality has been reflected in the calendars of various types created by humans, in folk art and culture (social and historical knowledge). Children's awareness of all these interconnections contributes to a more successful acquisition of cognitive skills.
