Case report reveals increased bone height with indirect sinus lift and socket preservation, indicating effective rehabilitation in edentulous patients.
Edentulous patients can struggle to live with a removable prosthesis because it might impair speech, comfort, and appearance. With their improved functionality and success rates, implants have supplanted removable dentures. Nonetheless, pneumatization of the sinus following maxillary posterior tooth loss is a very frequent occurrence. The ridge height can be raised by roughly 3-5 mm with surgical sinus floor augmentation, which makes it easier to insert implants at the same time. The typical drilling approach with burs was used in the conventional sinus lift treatments to prepare the location for implant insertion. Using high-speed densifying burs of progressively larger diameters, osseodensification is a revolutionary procedure that preserves and compacts bone while elevating the sinus floor. This case report presents the rehabilitation of the maxillary molar by using socket preservation and indirect sinus lift with implant placement where the bone height and bone width were compromised.
