Domestic violence is a pervasive issue with far-reaching consequences, impacting individuals, families, and communities. Education helps communities understand the dynamics of domestic violence by providing comprehensive information about different forms of abuse and control tactics employed by abusers.Research has shown that educational interventions improve knowledge, attitudes, and behaviours related to domestic violence. Integrating comprehensive domestic violence education into school curricula, community programmes, and public awareness campaigns is crucial in raising awareness, preventing domestic violence, and creating safer communities. By utilizing education as a tool, communities can foster a culture that rejects violence, promotes healthy relationships, and ultimately prevents domestic violence incidents. Thisstudy examines the role of education in raising awareness about domestic violence and its potential to prevent such incidents.
