Develops a hyperspectral camera for improved pixel registration and distortion correction, suggesting increased image accuracy.
We introduce a novel hyperspectral camera capable of capturing 20 spectral channels simultaneously, each at a resolution of 1 megapixel. The system is designed for seamless integration with off-the-shelf industrial objective lenses, ensuring flexibility and accessibility for a wide range of applications. To address image distortion and ensure precise pixel registration across all channels, we propose a robust single-image calibration method. This approach enhances the accuracy and reliability of hyperspectral imaging, simplifying the calibration process while maintaining high spatial and spectral fidelity.
