The latest research from the Giving USA Foundation shows that overall charitable giving in the United States grew by 6.3% in 2024, reaching a total of $592.5 billion in current dollars and marking a new record high by that measure. After taking account inflation, giving grew by about 3.3% for the year, still a strong performance after 2023, which saw inflation‐adjusted giving decline by 2.1% for the year.
