Demonstration of coupled SAW oscillators with tunable gain and loss for acousto-optic sensing applications.
We demonstrate the first-ever monolithically-integrated coupled acoustoelectric surface acoustic wave oscillators for acousto-optic sensing with independently tunable gain and loss. The devices operate at an exceptional point and are investigated for use in acousto-optic sensing.
