Electrode reconstruction method improves microstructure optimization in lithium-ion batteries, suggesting enhanced performance accuracy.
The microstructure of lithium-ion battery electrode plays a crucial role in determining the performance. Achieving precise microstructure reconstruction is essential for enabling rapid forward design and optimizing battery performance. However, current techniques struggle to accurately characterize electrode transport properties and quickly generate complex electrode structures, creating significant challenges for mechanism-driven rapid design. In response, an electrode reconstruction method capable is proposed which is capable to produce high-precision tetrahedral meshes tailored for microstructure optimization. The approach effectively captures the characteristics of the original electrode microstructure, including features for boundary detection and defect correction in low-quality tomographic images. Performance predictions based on the reconstructed electrodes align closely with experimental results.
