This paper presents an adaptive control method for attitude tracking in rigid aircraft, indicating improved performance and adaptability under disturbances.
This paper investigates the attitude tracking control problem for rigid aircraft in the presence of disturbances. An initially relaxed and adjustable prescribed performance control (PPC) strategy is proposed. In this approach, a dynamically adaptive performance function is designed to allow self‐adjustment of constraint boundaries, thereby enhancing system adaptability and reducing dependence on initial conditions. Furthermore, by integrating dynamic performance functions with barrier functions, a faster convergence rate is achieved. To handle state‐dependent disturbances with unknown upper bounds, a segmented adaptive term is introduced to accurately estimate both the total disturbances and their internal parameters. Finally, rigorous stability analysis and comparative simulation results are provided to demonstrate the effectiveness and superiority of the proposed control scheme.
