Analysis of ECHR rulings affects administrative law and highlights unresolved issues in Russia.
The article examines the impact of the ECHR rulings on the improvement of Russian administrative legislation, in particular, the drafts of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation and the Procedural Code of the Russian Federation on Administrative Offenses. Based on specific examples from the practice of the ECHR, it was possible to identify the problems of Russian legislation on administrative offenses. In the light of Russia's withdrawal from the Council of Europe and the loss of jurisdiction of the ECHR over the Russian Federation, two issues seem relevant: the establishment of problems in the field of administrative law that have been solved thanks to the activities of the ECHR, as well as the identification of problems identified by the ECHR that have not been resolved to date.
