The article considers the peculiarities of the formation of the budget of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War, the budget and tax policy of the Soviet government in extraordinary economic and military conditions, the growth of budget revenues, as a result of financial measures carried out during the war, the contribution of the Soviet people, home front workers in the military budget of the country.
