Andrey Veniaminovich Reshetnikov's Anniversary

On August 28, 2025, the outstanding scientist and teacher, Honored Healthcare Worker of the Russian Federation, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Doctor of Sociological Sciences, Professor Andrei VeniaminovichReshetnikov turned 65. The article presents a scientific and biographical essay dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical and Sociological Sciences Andrei VeniaminovichReshetnikov. The work covers the professional path of the scientist from a practicing physician to a recognized scientific figure, the founder of the Russian school of sociology of medicine. Particular attention is paid to the scientific achievements of A.V. Reshetnikov in the field of development of the methodology of medical and sociological research, creation of a long-term planning system for healthcare development and formation of socio-economic protection of the population. An analysis of his contribution to the development of higher medical education, training of scientific personnel and the creation of fundamental scientific works is presented. The article demonstrates the importance of the scientific and pedagogical activities of the hero of the day for the development of domestic healthcare and medical science.
