The developed Ru 6 W 4 O x showed exceptional OER activity with an overpotential of 140.32 mV at 10 mA cm −2 , far superior to commercial RuO 2 . A PEMWE using Ru 6 W 4 O x achieved 1.784 V at 2 A cm −2 , 4.34 kWh m −3 H 2 and an electrolysis efficiency of 81.72%.
