This model demonstrates enhanced adaptability in braking scenarios, suggesting improvements in testing methods.
Aiming at the limitations of existing research, including insufficient model degrees of freedom (DOF), lack of closed-loop validation, and weak hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) adaptability, this paper proposes and develops a 14-DOF vehicle dynamics model based on Simulink. A modular braking test environment is innovatively designed, featuring the capability to switch between multiple signal source inputs (external pedal force / master cylinder pressure / wheel cylinder pressure). This significantly enhances the model's flexibility and adaptability within automated testing procedures. Under braking scenarios, simulation results from Simulink are compared with those from a Carsim model. The comparison validates the high accuracy of the developed model.
