Study reveals the impact of nanoparticles concentration on physical-mechanical properties in nanocomposites, indicating optimal mixtures enhance performance.
The study results of a study of the influence of a nanoparticles concentration of technical carbon of the Printex XE 2B brand and a compatibilizer, a grafted copolymer of high density polyethylene with maleic anhydride, on the main physical-mechanical properties of nanocomposites based on polyolefines are presented. High density polyethylene, low density polyethylene and polypropylene were used as a polyolefine. Such properties as breaking stress, tensile yield strength, elongation, heat resistance and flexural strength have been studied. In the course of the study, the optimal ratios of the mixture components were determined, at which high physical-mechanical properties of nanocomposites based on polyolefines are reached.
