Analysis reveals psychological and spiritual dimensions influencing Catholic faith, suggesting improved catechesis for youth.
Considering the decline in the number of people identifying as Catholic in traditionally Catholic societies, and aiming to support families in domestic evangelization, we examine two key experiences of Catholic religiosity-divine filiation and co-paternity—through the lens of Philippe Lersch's Integrated Psychology. The study describes the cognitive and affective repercussions of these experiences, emphasizing their profound imprint and significant influence in shaping religious life. We argue for the need for catechesis that strengthens the psychological and spiritual maturity of young people, equipping them to navigate potential life and sociocultural challenges.
