Experiments reveal how different LED lighting modes impact growth in cucumber plants, suggesting optimal light conditions for better yields.
The influence of greenhouse LED lighting modes on biometric and production indicators of plants is considered. The results of 12 full-fledged vegetation of cucumber plants of the «Svyatogor F1» variety by using light culture technology are presented. The studies are conducted on an experimental hydroponic setup with photosynthetic photon irradiance ЕPPFD = 200 ± 10 mmol/(с·m2). Together with specialists from the agrotechnical complex of JSC «Teplichnoe», a methodical approach to photobiological studies is developed. At experiment LED phito-irradiators with an adjustable spectrum are used, which made it possible to study the effect of the ratio of the shares of the red and distant red ranges in the radiation spectrum on the growth, development and productivity of cucumber plants of the «Svyatogor F1» variety.
