Designing an innovative campus educational environment

The research highlights the issues of designing and reconstructing an innovative educational environment (campus). Architectural and urban planning, compositional and social factors influenc-ing the peculiarities of the organization of public spaces of the courtyard space of campuses are con-sidered. The basics of designing modern campuses in the Russian Federation have been studied. An experimental design of a public leisure zone on the campus territory is presented; the importance and role of the amphitheater in the organization of the public space of the IAiS VSTU Volgograd campus is studied
