This article identifies parameters influencing sample size decisions in qualitative research, suggesting clearer guidelines.
Determining an appropriate sample size is a marker of the quality of qualitative research. However, there is currently no consensus on how to achieve the size of such a sample. There are no clear methods and rules to guide researchers in achieving an appropriate sample size.
