Analysis reveals flow effects on temperature and concentration profiles in Carreau nanofluids, indicating critical industrial implications.
This work looks into the implications of convection, with an emphasis on chemical reaction and thermal radiation, for Carreau nanofluids behavior along an elongating cylinder considering a permeable medium. This study is crucial for the manufacturing, energy, petroleum, and chemical production industries. The above phenomena are mathematically modeled using PDEs. Similarity variables have made it possible to transform PDEs into ODEs. The suggested approach is local since the flow is non‐similar. Similarity variables are introduced, and PDEs are transformed into coupled ODEs. A MATLAB built‐in solver bvp4c is employed to compute the solution. Graphs demonstrate the distinct factors affecting the effects of profiles of temperature, microorganisms, concentration, and velocity. The values of physical factors like the skin friction coefficient, concentration mass transfer rate, local Nusselt number, and motile microorganisms have been presented in the table. As the values of both the magnetic and porosity parameters increase, the skin friction coefficient also increases. As the Biot number and curvature parameter values rise, the local Sherwood number rises. By increasing the curvature parameter value, the concentration profile decreases and increments in the motile microorganism profile.
