This approach addresses nonlinear distortions in differential amplifiers using MOSFET resistors, indicating potential design improvements.
The article is devoted to solving the problem of designing fully integrated differential amplifiers using nonlinear MOSFET resistors as an active load. Circuit engineering methods for increasing the linearity of MOSFET resistors and a method for linearization of the operating mode based on a piecewise linear model of MOSFET resistors are considered. It is revealed that circuit engineering methods do not allow for complete linearity of MOSFET resistors, and to build a piecewise linear model, it is necessary to find a connection between the parameters of a differential amplifier and the degree of accuracy of approximation of the volt-ampere characteristic of MOSFET resistors. In this regard, the task was formulated to develop a method for determining the parameters of differential amplifiers for integrated circuits, within the boundaries of which the nonlinear distortions of the amplified signal caused by the nonlinearity of MOSFET resistors do not exceed a set value in accordance with the formulated accuracy criterion...
