This novel organomanganese hybrid halide demonstrates enhanced luminescence efficiency in a glassy-ceramic, highlighting advancements in X-ray radioluminescence.
Organomanganese‐based hybrid halide have emerged as promising materials in optoelectronics. However, the low‐temperature synthesis of these materials with tunable luminescence remains unexplored. In this study, the first report on a novel transparent organomanganese hybrid halide glassy‐ceramic is presented, achieving multi‐color photoluminescence emission. By modulating the Mn 2 ⁺ ion concentration, controllable radioluminescence under X‐ray irradiation is demonstrated, with emission colors tunable from green to orange. Notably, ligand doping engineering effectively induces crystallization, significantly enhancing luminescence efficiency and radiation detection performance while preserving the materials transparency and plasticity. The resulting glassy‐ceramic exhibits a high quantum yield (76%) and an outstanding light yield (56 600 photons MeV −1 ), along with superior spatial resolution (>28.3 lp mm −1 ) in X‐ray imaging. These advancements not only establish a new paradigm for designing multifunctional hybrid glass materials but also unlock promising applications in advanced radiation detection and multi‐color X‐ray imaging.
