Genome assembly reveals 273.69 megabases in springtail Orchesella flavescens, highlighting mitochondrial genome structure.
<ns3:p>We present a genome assembly from a specimen of <ns3:italic>Orchesella flavescens</ns3:italic> (springtail; Arthropoda; Collembola; Entomobryomorpha; Orchesellidae). The genome sequence has a total length of 273.69 megabases. Most of the assembly (99.88%) is scaffolded into 6 chromosomal pseudomolecules. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 14.92 kilobases in length.</ns3:p>
