Nirmal Bangla Mission is a sanitation initiative launched by the Government of West Bengal in 2014, aiming to ensure clean, hygienic, and open-defecation-free (ODF) villages across the state. Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY) is a health program under the National Health Mission (NHM) launched by the Indian Government in 2005. The National Iron Plus Initiative (NIPI) is a flagship program launched by the Government of India to combat iron deficiency anemia, particularly among vulnerable groups such as children, adolescents, pregnant and lactating women. The Revised National Tuberculosis Control Programme (RNTCP), launched in 1997, was built on the internationally recommended DOTS (Directly Observed Treatment, Short course) strategy to ensure high treatment success rates and early diagnosis.
