Salvage excavation uncovered ceramic finds at Ḥorbat Zekharya, highlighting archaeological significance in the region.
In August 2016, a salvage excavation was conducted southeast of H orbat Zekharya in Modi‘in (Permit No. A-7765; map ref. 19756/64771; Fig. 1), prior to construction. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Yitzhak Levy, was directed by D. Masarwa, with the assistance of O. Danziger (Area B supervisor), Y. Amrani and E.
