In January–April 2014, a trial excavation was conducted at the antiquities site of ‘En She h or in the Lower Galilee (Permit No. A-6994; map ref. 238950–91266/734885–5338; Fig. 1), prior to the installation of a gas pipeline. The excavation, on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Israel Natural Gas Lines Ltd . , was directed by B. Hanna (field photography), with the assistance of Y. Lavan (administration), M. Shemer (area supervision and flints), F. Halhal and Y. Alexandre (area supervision), R. Mishayev (surveying and drafting), A. Shapiro (GPS), H. Tahan-Rosen (finds drawing) and N. Getzov (pottery).
