In August–October 2020, a salvage excavation was conducted in the northeast part of the Neolithic site at Mo z a (Permit No. A-8797; map ref. 215404–966/632598–3491; Fig. 1), prior to laying a water pipeline. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Mekorot Water Company, was directed by J. Vardi and D. Yegorov, with the assistance of A. Levi and A.
