In October 2018, a salvage excavation was conducted at 11 Gertz Street in Ramla (Permit No. A-8282; map ref. 187328–59/649088–111; Fig. 1), prior to construction work. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by Nafar Ta’isir, was directed by R. Toueg (field photography), with the assistance of E.
