Excavation seasons at Tel Qedesh reveal archaeological findings, indicating ongoing research in Upper Galilee.
In September–October 2018 and July–August 2019, two excavation seasons took place at Tel Qedesh in the eastern Upper Galilee (License Nos. G-27/2018, G-73/2019; map ref. 249/779; Fig. 1). The excavations, undertaken on behalf of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and funded by the Israel Science Foundation, were directed by U. Davidovich and I. Wachtel, with the assistance of M. Ullman (Area B1 supervision, 2018 season), R. Waysman (Area B1 supervision, 2019 season), S. Sharfberg (Area C1 supervision) and H. Ashkenazi (surveying and drafting, 2018 season).
