Excavation reveals findings at the Qula antiquities site in Israel, suggesting historical significance.
In July–August 2016, a trial excavation was conducted in an area within the Qula antiquities site (Permit No. A-7761; map ref. 194860–6935/658706–61580; Fig. 1) prior to the construction of an interchange. The excavation, undertaken on behalf of the Israel Antiquities Authority and funded by the Cross-Israel Highway Ltd., was directed by L. Nadav-Ziv, with the assistance of Y. Amrani and E.
