This analysis shows anticancer effects of hydrogel with nitrogenous nanographene oxide in melanoma cells, suggesting new therapeutic approaches.
Cold atmospheric plasma‐activated hydrogel (PAH) have proven effective as a novel anticancer method. In this study, air discharge plasma‐activated pluronic F127 hydrogel (PAH PF127 ) combined with nitrogenous nanographene oxide (GO/N) are proposed for enhancing anticancer efficacy. The results showed that PAH PF127 could effectively load various reactive oxygen and nitrogen species generated by plasma without adversely affecting the physicochemical properties. In addition, the in vitro results indicated that the PAH PF127 had an anticancer effect on B16F10 melanoma cells, and the combination treatment reduced cancer cell viability to 49%, compared to 73% for PAH PF127 and 88% for GO/N alone, and increased intracellular ROS levels by 2.4‐fold. These findings highlight the potential of PAH PF127 ‐GO/N as an innovative platform for enhanced plasma‐induced cancer therapy.
