Analysis reveals low adaptive capabilities in elderly patients with senile asthenia syndrome, highlighting crucial socio-hygienic characteristics.
The article presents the main social and hygienic characteristics of the contingent paid to patients with different degrees of "fragility" (old asthenia syndrome). Such indicators as gender and age, family status, employment, visibility and social activity, ability to self-service, financial well-being are taken into account. The general physical condition of elderly patients was studied using the physical condition index (PCI), which reflects the adaptive capabilities of patients. It was revealed that elderly patients with SSA are older in age, most of them do not work and they exhibit less physical activity. Low IFS indicators in all groups indicate the predominant failure of the adaptive capabilities of elderly patients.
