This qualitative analysis explores how Pandawaragroup engages Generation Z on environmental issues via Instagram, fostering awareness and legal understanding.
The rise of environmental damage problems requires studies from various perspectives including legal studies. Society plays a key role in shaping legal culture, including raising public awareness about environmental protection through social media platforms, particularly through the Pandawaragroup Instagram account, which features content focused on environmental concerns among youth. This study aims to determine whether Pandawaragroup’s content fosters environmental awareness among Generation Z. This research is included in qualitative research with an empirical approach. Data collection involved two stages: (1) observing and reviewing information on the Pandawaragroup Instagram account, and (2) recording, marking, and coding the data. The results indicate that Pandawaragroup’s Instagram content fosters an attitude of respect for environmental management, inspires action, engages followers in discussions on environmental and legal issues, and promotes legal awareness regarding environmental protection. This research demonstrates that Instagram-based environmental content can educate Generation Z, especially legal awareness in protecting the environment.
