The article examines fragments of unusual relief-painted tiles found in Moskow Krutitsky Lane during archaeological excavations in 2022. The tiles are characterized by an excellent level of execution of both the exquisite relief of the Baroque style frame and the story painting in blue tones. They are made of high-quality clay dough, similar in composition to earthenware. The only analogue is the oven in Peter the Great's study in the Summer Palace in St. Petersburg. The tiles for the stove from the Summer Palace were ordered in 1714 in Hamburg. The wooden house in which the furnace stood, burned down in a fire in 1812, belonged to gardemebel Osip Petrov, who was the caretaker of the palace property. In addition to the Hamburg one, the house was heated by two more furnaces of Peter the Great's time, lined with relief-painted tiles of Russian manufacture.
