The article is devoted to development of scenarios for activating digital transformation of industrial enterprises in the face of modern challenges. It is proven that digital transformation is a continuous process that requires flexibility and strategic thinking, and taking risks into account will allow industrial enterprises not only to achieve short-term goals, but also to ensure long-term development. It is substantiated that detection and identification of key risks is an important step in ensuring successful digital transformation of industrial enterprises, as it allows to identify the main threats and potential challenges that can affect implementation of new technologies, change business processes and adaptation to changing market conditions. A matrix of risks and opportunities for the digital transformation of industrial enterprises is presented. Threats and benefits of digital transformation of these enterprises are studied. A basic, optimistic and pessimistic scenario of digital transformation is proposed, which allows assessing various options for the impact of external and internal factors on business processes of the enterprise.
