Investigation of the harmonic oscillator reveals quantized energy in wormhole spacetime, suggesting effects of spin-orbit coupling and cosmic string.
In this work, we investigate the harmonic oscillator for a spin-1/2 particle using the Pauli equation into Ellis–Bronnikov-type wormhole spacetime with a global monopole and a cosmic string. Due to the spherical symmetry, the angular component of the Pauli spinor is represented by two-component spherical harmonic functions. The radial differential equation incorporates relativistic corrections through spin-orbit coupling terms and the Darwin term arising from the presence of a radial linear electric field. We obtain the exact radial wave function and the energy and oscillation frequency quantized, including the correction terms for spin-orbit coupling and the Darwin term. Additionally, we examine the influence of the cosmic string, global monopole, and spacetime curvature through graphical analysis of the eigenenergies and radial probability density.
