Numerous clinical studies that measure psychological and hemodynamic markers have demonstrated the positive health effects of music. Nevertheless, there are no explicit guidelines on how to take advantage of music's potential health benefits. Furthermore, it is yet unknown if the impact of music is temporary or permanent. We present an overview of the a few research that have assessed the physiological or psychological effects of music in order to address the impact of music on patients' vital measures and emotional well-being. A suggested methodology for developing a customized approach that might investigate the therapeutic benefits of music is presented in here.
