Abstract

The article is devoted to solving the problem of the effectiveness of training football players aged 17-21 during the transition to professional teams. The work revealed that the end of training of young football players in the Youth Sports School, Youth Sports School and the transition to a professional team falls on the period of life when the formation of all functional systems that ensure high efficiency and immunity of the body to adverse factors that manifest themselves in the process of intense training is mainly completed. The duration of this period is determined not only by the general laws of sports training, but also by the individual characteristics of the development of young men, because the full formation of the human body lasts up to 23 years. The end of the stage of preparation for higher achievements, if possible, should coincide with the athlete reaching the lower limit of the age zone, optimal for achieving the highest results. A fundamentally important point is to ensure conditions under which the period of maximum propensity of football players to achieve the highest results (prepared by the course of the natural development of the organism and functional transformations as a result of many years of training) coincides with the period of the most intense and most difficult training loads in terms of physical, tactical, technical, and psychological terms. With such a coincidence, promising youth manage to achieve the maximum possible results, otherwise they turn out to be significantly lower. As a result, talented youth have to independently solve the problem of transition to professional sports. Practical experience shows that the vast majority of young men complete their football activities, which indicates the absence of a balanced system for the transition of young men to adult football. The analysis and generalization of data on the competitive activity of football players aged 17 to 21 in professional teams and the identification of the main reasons for the cessation of sports by talented youth during the transition to professional teams allowed us to determine the methodological and organizational conditions for effective management of the training of football players aged 17 to 21 during the transition to professional teams.
