Path analytic study reveals a positive relationship between narcissism and worry in university students, suggesting self-esteem and anxiety factors
The relationship between nonpathological worry and narcissism while accounting for self-esteem and anxiety was examined among a sample of 114 university students. The results indicated that narcissism positively correlated with worry. Also, accounting for self-esteem and anxiety together, but not separately, mediated the relationship between narcissism and worry. The results and implications were discussed.
