Analysis of personnel management in logistics companies, highlighting solutions to enhance the socio-psychological climate.
The logistics industry is of great importance for global supply chains, ensuring the uninterrupted movement of goods and materials. In the context of rapid technological progress, the need to meet sustainable development standards, increased geopolitical tensions, and especially the war in Ukraine, the logistics industry is facing new challenges and crisis phenomena. Effective personnel management in logistics companies can help solve specific problems faced by logistics companies and maintain their resilience and adaptability to threats. The aim of the work was to theoretically substantiate key areas for improving the socio-psychological climate in logistics companies and analyze the practical experience of leading logistics companies in Ukraine in this area. The results of the study characterized the essence of the concept of "socio-psychological climate" and presented the features of a favorable and negative socio-psychological climate. Key challenges and opportunities for personnel management in logistics companies were noted. Among the main areas of improvement of the socio-psychological climate in logistics companies are identified: implementation of training and development programs for employees, investments in talent development, use of HR analytics, implementation of a human-centric approach, ensuring a diverse and inclusive culture in the workplace. The work reveals what measures are implemented by such Ukrainian logistics companies as Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta to maintain a favorable socio-psychological climate. These measures relate to ensuring labor safety, including in war conditions, ensuring inclusiveness, transparency in the approach to remuneration, non-material motivation of employees, training and development of personnel. As a result of the work, it was noted that the examples of Nova Poshta and Ukrposhta prove the effectiveness of a comprehensive approach to personnel management with the use of material and non-material incentive measures to improve the socio-psychological climate in the team, which can affect the improvement of companies' performance, their resilience and adaptation to crisis conditions. The results of the study may be useful for logistics companies in the process of improving approaches to human resource management.
