This analysis reveals transition form factors for particles in a new mixing scheme, highlighting important decay properties.
In this paper, we take into account the intrinsic charm and gluonic contents into the <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mrow><a:mi>η</a:mi><a:mo>−</a:mo><a:msup><a:mrow><a:mi>η</a:mi></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mo>′</a:mo></a:mrow></a:msup></a:mrow></a:math> mixing scheme and formulate the tetramixing <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:mi>η</c:mi><c:mo>−</c:mo><c:msup><c:mi>η</c:mi><c:mo>′</c:mo></c:msup><c:mo>−</c:mo><c:mi>G</c:mi><c:mo>−</c:mo><c:msub><c:mi>η</c:mi><c:mi>c</c:mi></c:msub></c:math> to study the mixing properties of <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:msup><e:mi>η</e:mi><e:mrow><e:mo stretchy="false">(</e:mo><e:mo>′</e:mo><e:mo stretchy="false">)</e:mo></e:mrow></e:msup></e:math> mesons. Using the newly derived mixing parameters, we calculate the transition form factors (TFFs) of <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><i:msup><i:mi>B</i:mi><i:mo>+</i:mo></i:msup><i:mo>/</i:mo><i:msup><i:mi>D</i:mi><i:mo>+</i:mo></i:msup><i:mo>/</i:mo><i:msubsup><i:mi>D</i:mi><i:mi>s</i:mi><i:mo>+</i:mo></i:msubsup><i:mo stretchy="false">→</i:mo><i:msup><i:mi>η</i:mi><i:mrow><i:mo stretchy="false">(</i:mo><i:mo>′</i:mo><i:mo stretchy="false">)</i:mo></i:mrow></i:msup></i:math> within the quantum chromodynamics (QCD) light-cone sum rules up to next-to-leading order QCD corrections and twist-4 contributions. Using the extrapolated TFFs, we then calculate the decay widths and branching fractions of the semileptonic decays <n:math xmlns:n="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><n:msup><n:mi>B</n:mi><n:mo>+</n:mo></n:msup><n:mo>/</n:mo><n:msup><n:mi>D</n:mi><n:mo>+</n:mo></n:msup><n:mo>/</n:mo><n:msubsup><n:mi>D</n:mi><n:mi>s</n:mi><n:mo>+</n:mo></n:msubsup><n:mo stretchy="false">→</n:mo><n:msup><n:mi>η</n:mi><n:mrow><n:mo stretchy="false">(</n:mo><n:mo>′</n:mo><n:mo stretchy="false">)</n:mo></n:mrow></n:msup><n:msup><n:mo>ℓ</n:mo><n:mo>+</n:mo></n:msup><n:msub><n:mi>ν</n:mi><n:mo>ℓ</n:mo></n:msub></n:math>. Our results are consistent with the recent Belle and BES-III measurements within reasonable errors.
