Education is considered a key pillar of socio-economic development. It is not only a process of knowledge acquisition but also a means of human resource development, social justice, gender equality, and expansion of economic opportunities. This research paper provides a detailed analysis of the relationship between educational facilities and various dimensions of socio-economic development (population, agriculture, health, finance, communication, and industry) at the tehsil level in the Hadauti region of Rajasthan. Detailed tehsil-level data from 2023 were used for the study. An education index was constructed based on primary and secondary education-related indicators , which was then examined using statistical methods such as correlation, factor analysis, and composite index construction with other sectoral indicators. The results indicate that the quality and accessibility of educational facilities in Hadauti are positively associated with financial inclusion , industrial, and agricultural development. A strong and lasting correlation was observed between education and socio-economic development, which reinforces the need for continued investment in education for regional inclusive development. Tehsils like Ladpura, Bundi, and Digod are at a high level of development, while Hindoli, Chhipabarod, and Nainwan are lagging behind. This study highlights regional disparities in education and provides useful guidance to policymakers for balanced development strategies.
