Anti-interleukin (IL)17 use has been associated with a higher risk of candidiasis, as this cytokine is involved in maintaining mucosal barriers and orchestrating immune responses to fungal pathogens. We performed a real-life retrospective multicenter study aiming of assessing the risk of candidiasis in patients undergoing treatment with bimekizumab at labelled dosage for psoriasis, for at least 16 weeks.
