The species of the genus Pseudomops Serville, 1831 present in Mexico are revised, and a key for the separation of the Mexican species is provided. For the first time, the male of Pseudomops guerinianus (Saussure, 1862) is described and Pseudomops nigrimaculis Fisk, 1977 is proposed as a junior synonym of P. guerinianus and Thyrsocera sallei Saussure, 1862 as a junior synonym of Pseudomops septentrionalis Hebard, 1917.
